At high tide, however, allowances for the draft accommodation shall be made so that the draft does not exceed the figures in the following chart. |

Preventing the passing of other ships
Those ships operating in the shipping lanes will be prevented from passing other ships in the lane (between groynes) in accordance with the standards in the following chart. Ships entering or leaving port shall comply when asked to cooperate in preventing the passing of other ships by the port management office affiliated with Fukuoka Prefecture's Omuta Civil Engineering Office, pilot boats, or tug boats on patrol.

Communication to be made by the day before ship arrival or departure
As a rule, ships that would enter or leave the Port of Miike must notify the port management office affiliated with Fukuoka Prefecture's Omuta Civil Engineering Office by 2:00 p.m. on the day before of their scheduled arrival or departure (berthing or leaving port), either directly, or through an agent. Notification of changes to the schedule must also be made.

As a rule, ships that would enter or leave the Port of Miike must notify the port management office affiliated with Fukuoka Prefecture's Omuta Civil Engineering Office of the following information as cited in the following regarding their port arrival or departure, and confirm that other ships are not moving in the lanes.
